Sony’s Xperia 5V appears on 3C, 33W charging confirmed

Sony could be ready to unveil the Xperia 5 V a quarter of an hour early as evidenced by recent leaks of the device. The latter is a 3C certification of the device with model number XQ-DQ72, revealing its 33W charging capacity.

This same model number was seen back in February on Geekbench, sporting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 16GB of RAM.

Sony usually releases the Xperia 1 earlier in the year – from May to August, then the Xperia 5 follows in September or October. We could have a change this year and we are looking forward to it.
