Some Chelsea fans express fresh concern as Romelu Lukaku posts cryptic social media message
Supporters of Premier League giants Chelsea have begun to express fresh concern regarding hitman Romelu Lukaku, owing to the latest social media activity on the part of the Belgian.
Lukaku of course saw his name cast into the spotlight in west London for all the wrong reasons late last year, after making no secret of his unhappiness as part of Thomas Tuchel’s squad during an interview with Sky Italia.
The former Inter Milan standout, in turn, was widely targeted by the club’s fanbase, with Lukaku having also been dropped from matchday duties by boss Tuchel.
Romelu Lukaku to @SkySport: “Physically I am fine. But I’m NOT happy with the situation at Chelsea. Tuchel has chosen to play with another system – I won’t give up, I’ll be professional. I am not happy with the situation but I am professional – and I can’t give up now”. 🔵 #CFC pic.twitter.com/KGNoJ10cwp

Upon ‘Big Rom’ returning to social media to post an altogether cryptic message on Friday evening, it should therefore not come as all that much of a surprise to hear of the Chelsea faithful once again expressing their concerns.
Taking to his official Snapchat account a short time ago, Lukaku posted the following:

And the ensuing backlash has since been as damning as it has swift, amid the collective suggestion that Chelsea’s record signing should learn to ‘read the room’:

This could refer to absolutely anything (or nothing in particular) but, given his current situation at Chelsea, it probably isn’t the wisest thing for Lukaku to post on his public Snapchat #CFC pic.twitter.com/jXPiXZoTaA

That’s exactly my issue. It could be a “that’s what she said” joke or it could be directly about how he feels at Chelsea. If it’s the latter then he’s addicted to drama & should just leave Abu Dhabi right now. But even if it’s the former, a joke, how tone deaf can he be???

Oh my Lord ……
If anyone is still defending Lukaku, I want to meet that person and put him in timeout

You’d think he’d have been told not to post vague, cryptic messages to social media. Apparently not

Turning attentions back towards matters on the pitch, Lukaku, despite the fresh drama surrounding his name, will no doubt be hopeful of playing a central role for Chelsea once more this weekend.
This comes with the Pensioners primed to face off against Brazilian giants Palmeiras for the Club World Cup title on Saturday evening.
Lukaku actually proved match-winner last time out, when Thomas Tuchel’s troops got the better of Saudi outfit Al-Hilal by a solitary goal in midweek, to book their spot in the Abu Dhabi showpiece:
