Small Businesses Dept collaborates with Clicks to replace TRESemmé products
The Small Businesses Department disclosed that it is now working alongside clicks amidst the racist ad saga going on against Clicks.
The department said it is ensuring that the outlet sells similar locally produced products and neglect that of TREsemme.
This was after the minister of Small Businesses, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni advised the health and beauty retailer on Tuesday Morning to remove TREsemme’s products from its shelves.
Clicks responded to the advise and invited them to be a partner in achieving this.
Ntshavheni said a meeting with Clicks has been organised to provide means on getting South African businesses involved.
“We will identify or give them access to the ones that we have been working with in that industry to say these are ready for the market and these are upcoming and we can work on a journey with them,” she said.
EFF protests against the racist ad published by Clicks led to over 400 Clicks stores shutdown.
The freedom fighters are keen on getting Clicks to close its doors for five days despite court’s interdict restraining the party from intimidating threatening and inciting violence against Clicks.
