Simi Named Top Streamed Female Musician From Sub-Saharan Africa On BoomPlay
Simisola Ogunleye simply known as Simi, a popular Nigerian singer, has been named the most-streamed female artiste on audio streaming platform, Boomplay.
This was made known in a statistic released by the online music platform for the end of the year.
The pop singer sat comfortably on the top of the list of the most listened-to female singers in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Coming in second is popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, while Teniola Apata also known Teni Makanaki followed in third.
In another gist, Singer, Wizkid’s baby mama, Jada Pollock has opened up on how she met the Nigerian afrobeat star and became his manager.
The music enthusiast and artist manager said she met Wizkid in the year 2012. That same period, she was managing American based singer, Chris Bown.
