Sergio Agüero congratulates Raheem Sterling on century status
Agüero congrats Sterling on reaching century club
Former Manchester City leading man and club legend Sergio Agüero knows a thing or two about goalscoring in the Premier League after bagging 184-goals in 277-appearances for City across a decade-long spell in the north of England, and he wasted no time in showing support for former City clubmate Raheem Sterling after the England international joined an illustrious list of Premier League goalscorers.

Sterling found the only goal during Man City’s 1-0 win against Wolves at the Etihad Stadium earlier today, converting his effort from the spot and securing all three points to keep Pep Guardiola’s men on top of the Premier League table in a tight race for first with Liverpool and Chelsea.

That goal was something special, however, as Sterling joined Agüero as a goal-scoring centenarian in the top flight of English football, scoring 82 of his 100 goals for City across a stellar period at the club that netted him 3 Premier League wins, an FA Cup triumph, and a quintet of League Cup wins.
Despite long-standing links with a move away from City in the near future, he remains one of the club’s top players during the Premier League era.
Argentine under fire for Dubai trip
The unfortunate events surrounding Sergio Agüero and his possible retirement from football is a tough topic to consider, but that has not stopped Barcelona supporters from venting their frustration towards the Argentine forward for his actions off the pitch.

Agüero has come under fire after he was seen in Dubai testing high-performance cars rather than being back in-country to support his clubmates as their struggles this season continues.
According to Spanish outlet MARCA, Agüero has received a fair bit of backlash despite being on extended leave as he recovers from heart issues that may cause him to ultimately hang up his boots.
With Barcelona ousted from the Champions League during the group stage for the first time since 2000 at the hands of Leeds United after their 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich, it is highly possible that Barça fans are simply looking for any and all outlets that they can target to ease the pain of their exile from Europe’s top club competition this season.
