Samsung Galaxy S23 base storage will be 256GB

Samsung is launching all Galaxy S23 smartphones with at least 256GB of storage, according to the latest rumors. According to Ahmed Qwaider on Twitter, the 128GB option is gone, meaning there won’t be an 8GB RAM version of the Galaxy S23 Ultra – just 12GB.
The leakster only posted one storage option for the S23 and S23+ but three versions of the Ulta, which begs the question of whether this is a full variant list or just on its own the top phone is listed in full.

Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ both started from 8/128 GB, but now Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 will have 8/256 GB as the base variant. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will have three choices: 12/256GB, 12/512GB, and 12GB/1TB.
The 2022 flagship storage chips were the UFS 3.1 solution, but we expect the Galaxy S23 series to upgrade to UFS 4.0 – it brings 2x faster read speed and 1.6x sequential write speed faster. There’s also a 46% improvement in power efficiency, which is said to increase the battery life of larger cells.
