Samsung Galaxy A04s now getting One UI 5 update based on Android 13

Samsung wants to complete its One UI 5 rollout by the end of this year, having set a record pace so far, updating dozens of models since late October when the madness began.

The latest device to feature Android 13 and One UI 5 on top is the entry-level Galaxy A04. It launched with Android 12 a few months ago and is now making the jump to Android 13, with the new firmware version titled A047MUBU1BVK5.

This currently applies to units sold in Panama and will likely spread worldwide very soon, if there are no issues found in the meantime. Since it is a very low end phone, it gets a user interface Heart 5.0, which contains a subset of the full version features. The new version also brings the November 2022 security patch. As this device receives quarterly security updates, expect the next one to land in the first quarter of next year.
