Samsung could finally announce the Galaxy A54 and A34 on March 15

Both the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 have been rumored, leaked, and speculated for months at this point, and yet neither device is official. That may finally change later this month.

According to prominent (and prolific) leakster @OnLeaks, a “fairly reliable source” says both devices will be unveiled on March 15th. It’s unclear at this point if Samsung will hold an event for the occasion or just issue a press release and be done with it. The former, however, might be more appropriate, as the A5x series are Samsung’s best seller.

According to previous leaks, the Galaxy A54 will sport a 6.4-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 1380 SoC, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, a 5 MP macro shooter, a 32 MP selfie snapper and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support. It will be IP67 certified and still has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy A34 is rumored to come with a 6.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, 48MP main camera f/ 1.8, a 5 MP macro camera, a sensor depth camera and a 13 MP selfie shooter. Battery-wise, it’s identical to its sibling, featuring a 5,000mAh cell that charges at up to 25W. Both devices will come with Android 13 pre-installed under Samsung’s One UI 5.x skin.
