
Rumor: Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic screen will be 10% bigger

The current Galaxy Watch5 (44mm) and Watch5 Pro (46mm) both have 1.4″ screens with a resolution of 450 x 450 pixels for a pixel density of 321 ppi. For the upcoming Watch6 series, Samsung isn’t just bringing back the rotating bezel, it’s also working on adding a bigger screen, says ice universe.
According to the leakster, the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic will have a 1.47″ screen and a higher resolution to account for the extra 0.07″. It may seem small, but a quick calculation shows that the new screen will have 10% more surface area. As for the resolution, it should go up to 470 x 470px to keep the same pixel density.

Previous leaks have revealed the battery capacities and the Watch6 44mm and Watch6 Classic 46mm are both expected to come in at 425mAh. For comparison, the current Watch5 44mm model has a 410mAh battery, while the Pro 46mm stands out with a 590mAh power cell. If you keep an old 46mm Watch4 Classic, this one has a 1.4″ display (450 x 450 pixels) with a 361mAh battery.
