Rumor: Redmi K60 will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Pro gets 8+ Gen 1 instead

There have been several leaks regarding the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi K60 series, but now everything is starting to fall into place. A report of My Drivers suggests that the new series will be unveiled in January, probably before the Chinese New Year (January 22).

The Xiaomi Redmi K60 will feature the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is also expected to have a QHD+ 120Hz display and 67W fast wired charging and for the first time on a K-phone there will be wireless charging. of 30 W. On its back, we should see a 64MP main camera plus an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, a 16MP selfie camera.

Then there’s the so-called Redmi K60 Pro, which you’ll have to settle for with the old but still efficient Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. We don’t know why the Pro will have a slower chipset, it’s possible the reports have flipped things around, so wait until you see the first round of benchmarks. Either way, the Pro is expected to have a 120Hz QHD+ display.
