Rob Holding outlines biggest change at Arsenal since Mikel Arteta arrival
Rob Holding has been speaking about the big change at Arsenal following the arrival of Mikel Arteta.
Arteta took over at the Emirates at the back end of 2019, and went on to secure the FA Cup during his first season in the club’s dugout.
It has since been somewhat of a mixed journey following that triumph, but Arsenal do look to be finally clicking under the Spaniard, and are in with a shot of securing Champions League football for the first time since 2017.
Now, in a recent interview, Rob Holding has outlined what has changed at Arsenal under Arteta:
“I think since Mikel [Arteta] has come in there has been a big change in mentality and connecting with the fans,” he said. “I think on Sunday the fans were amazing again and they have been for the last couple of weeks, in terms of away games and at home.
“That’s why our results have been decent since those three that we lost. We bounced back and they stuck by us. It could have been an easy point to turn on us, but they stuck by us and we’ve had three good results now.”
“We have got to take it a game at a time.”
Rob Holding has warned Arsenal not to overlook Leeds as a critical north London derby showdown with Tottenham looms.

Arsenal vs Leeds
Arsenal’s next outing will see them face off with Leeds United on Sunday the 8th of May.
The Gunners head into the weekend’s action having won three on the bounce to once again move back into the top-four.
The race for 4th is still very tight, however, with Tottenham just two points behind. And, with a big north London derby still to come next week, it is vital Arsenal do not drop any points before then.
However, though Leeds were dispatched with ease by Manchester City last weekend, they are expected to be a much tougher test for Arsenal, with the Peacocks a much improved outfit since Jesse Marsch took the reins at Elland Road.
