According to RMC Sport via GetFrenchFootballNews, the gold medal winner is being earmarked as a potential replacement for wantaway French starlet Kylian Mbappé, who is adamant about leaving the Parc des Princes and has turned down yet another contract extension in the French capital.

Richarlison’s relationship with Neymar has apparently played a part in PSG sounding out the 24-year-old native of Nova Venécia, with Neymar tabling his name to the club hierarchy if Mbappé moves this summer.

James Rodríguez given the go-ahead to speak to other clubs

James Rodríguez’s time at Goodison Park seems to be barreling towards every possible exit row this summer, with the Colombian international being given permission to begin speaking to other clubs before the conclusion of the transfer window.

There seems to be no way back into the fold for Rodríguez under new Everton boss Rafa Benítez, and according to the Telegraph, the player has been linked with interest from clubs the likes of AC Milan and Atlético Madrid.

Social media had a field day at Rodríguez’s expense recently as well, with the Everton attacking midfielder not only confirming his lack of involvement for the Toffees before their weekend fixture against Leeds United but also not having a clue who his side was set to clash with at Goodison Park.

Everton youngster agrees to contract with Southampton

Highly-rated Everton youth academy graduate Thierry Small has agreed to a three-year deal with south coast outfit Southampton as Saints continue to march on while trusting in youth.

Small was linked with interest from a host of clubs this summer, including Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea, as well as interest from the continent.

Everton will receive a still unknown amount of compensation after losing out on the talented versatile defender, who walks into the club with the desire to continue his development at a club vaunted for its success in being a youth pipeline. New manager Ralph Hasenhüttl echoes those sentiments;

“I think our philosophy of how we develop these young players and give them their opportunities has been an important factor in this, and we are looking forward to working with Thierry and helping him make the most of his potential.” [quote via Southamptonfc.com]
