Revealed: When new signing Bryan Gil will arrive at Tottenham
Tottenham sign Bryan Gil
Tottenham would sign Bryan Gil towards the end of July.
The winger had spent 2020/21 on loan at Spanish outfit Eibar, who he scored four and assisted three for in 29 La Liga outings.
But Gil would then return to parent club Sevilla over the summer before being sold to Spurs.
The Lilywhites sent Sevilla Erik Lamela as part of a deal, which also saw them pay around £21.6m for Gil.
Gil is a left-winger by trade, but he is very versatile and can play on the right or as a central attacking midfielder.

When will Gil arrive at Tottenham?
Gil though, is actually yet to arrive at Tottenham, despite the season now being less than a week away.
This was because Gil was representing Spain at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
La Roja would make it to the final, but eventually lost to Brazil after extra time, earning Gil and his teammates a silver medal.
Now, with his international duties over for the summer, the Evening Standard have revealed when Gil will arrive at Tottenham:
New signing Bryan Gil is expected to report for Tottenham duty for the first time on Tuesday.

Though not mentioned by the ES, it does seem unlikely that Gil will be starting Tottenham’s first league match of the season, having missed all of their pre-season friendlies.
Spurs kick off the Nuno Espirito Santo era with a tough clash at home to Manchester City on August 15th at 4:30 PM UK time.
