Man United sign Sancho
The news all Manchester United fans were waiting for was finally forthcoming on Friday, July 23rd.
The Red Devils had agreed a deal in principle for Jadon Sancho on July 1st, but no official announcement had arrived in the following weeks.

That was until July 23rd, when United confirmed they had signed the winger on a deal until 2026:

The deal is understood to have set Man United back £72.9m, which makes Sancho the 3rd most expensive English player in history behind Harry Maguire and Jack Grealish.
When will Sancho & Cavani report to training?
Despite Sancho having been confirmed as a Man United player for around two weeks now, we are actually yet to see the winger play for or train with the Red Devils.
And with the Premier League season now just a week away, United fans are no doubt hopeful of seeing their new star man arrive soon.
Unfortunately for Man United fans, we will reportedly not see Sancho training with his new club until next week.
As the Manchester Evening News explain:
Club sources told the Manchester Evening News on Wednesday Sancho was due to report for training on Friday but sources have since clarified Sancho is not due until next week.
This would give Sancho less than a week’s training before United’s season-opener vs Leeds United.
An update on when Edinson Cavani will report to training this summer has also been forthcoming online, with the striker, like Sancho, expected to return next week:
Solskjaer tells #mufc site Cavani is due to be back next week for training. He will have had more than five weeks off this summer from when Uruguay were eliminated in the Copa America.
