Reds interested in Doku
First of all, Liverpool are rumoured to be interested in opening talks with Stade Rennais for Belgian winger Jeremy Doku. The 19-year-old winger, who can cover either flank, joined the French side from Anderlecht just last season and featured 30 times in Ligue 1 last season, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.

However, the price tag may well be a stumbling block, with the French club thought to be demanding 45 million euros for the youngster. Will this turn Klopp’s head elsewhere?
But club need to sell first
Whoever the club bring in, it appears that Jurgen Klopp has hinted that they will not bring in any more players until they shift some of the squad options currently at the club.
Speaking to TV2, Klopp revealed that:
“You have to make changes from time to time, but then there must be room to do it. We do not want more players.”

The likes of Divock Origi, Takumi Minamino, Curtis Jones and Nat Phillips are all thought to be available for sale for the right price, and may need to depart before any incomings arrive.
Shaqiri nears Lyon move
In some good news for Liverpool fans, one player may be about to depart the club, with Xherdan Shaqiri nearing a move to Ligue 1 side Lyon. As per transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the pair have agreed personal terms on a deal until June 2024, but Liverpool and Lyon are yet to come to an agreement on the fee.

At present, Lyon are offering 6 million euros and add-ons, whereas Liverpool are thought to be demanding more from the French outfit.
