The 12C sports a 6.71″ HD+ LCD display and packs a 5,000mAh battery that draws power via a microUSB port. The smartphone has three cameras – a 5MP selfie shooter on the front, along with a main camera 50MP on the back connected by a depth unit.
The rest of the highlights of the Redmi 12C include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC (market dependent) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Redmi 12C has four color options, and the event page set up by Xiaomi on its official Indian website confirms that all four will launch in India.
