Since Apple introduced the Dynamic Island concept on its iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max in September, time has started to turn. Admit it – we’re all eagerly waiting to see how quickly an Android device maker would emulate the feature. And which company would win this dubious race.

Today, thanks to leaked images from internal company documents, we know it’s Realme. The spin-off/offshoot/sub-brand/whatever it wants to call itself this week is apparently hard at work cloning – no, we mean, to be inspired by – Apple’s homework. Be mistaken, dynamic island.

You can see it in the images above and below. This phone could apparently launch at MWC next week, beating Huawei to the Dynamic Island punch. The device in question could belong to the entry-level C-series, as Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has previously hinted that it will include a pill-shaped camera cutout on such a handset.

A quick look reveals that Realme’s island is wider than Apple’s, but the functions can be very similar. As you can see, the SuperVOOC payload is currently displayed on the island. Here’s a leaked GIF of it in action:

It’s still unclear if third-party apps will somehow be able to access Realme Island, but don’t be surprised if the answer is no and all we’re getting is some level stuff. of the system like charging, changing media, that sort of thing.
