Realme GT Neo5 with 240W charging arrives February 9

Realme has confirmed that the GT Neo5 will be the first smartphone to feature 240W fast charging, and we now know it will be announced on February 9. The brand revealed that the launch will take place in China at 2 p.m. local time.

Official information on the phone is scarce, but we have plenty of trustworthy leak rumours. The GT Neo5 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, although we may see a version with Dimensity 8200 that “only” supports 150W fast charging.

Other reports mentioned a 50MP main camera with an IMX890 sensor and OIS, something we’ve seen in the Oppo brand and its Find N2 and Reno9 Pro+ smartphones. The screen will likely be 6.7-inch AMOLED with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels.
