Arsenal, of course, took Odegaard on loan for the second half of last campaign, and are known to hold a strong interest in bringing the 22 year old back to the Emirates this season, either on loan or on a permanent basis. It is unclear the price that Los Blancos would demand from any interested party, but it could well be that the time has been called on Odegaard’s Madrid career,

Los Blancos interested in Fofana
After Wesley Fofana’s breakthrough campaign at Leicester City, the French centreback has allegedly caught the attention of Real Madrid. The Foxes value their young talent at 80 million euros, twice what they paid Saint Etienne just last summer, as per French outlet GFFN.

However, any deal for the centreback would be unlikely to be forthcoming this window. Despite losing Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos to Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain respectively, reports suggest that they will not be dipping into the market to reinforce the heart of their defence.
Real Madrid will not sign a replacement for Varane this window.
Alaba, Militao, Nacho and either one of Vallejo, Chust or Gila will be the team’s CBs this season, with occasional help from Mendy as well.

As a result, any deal for Fofana may have to wait 12 months.
