Raphinha takes aim at Tim Krul after win over Norwich: ‘We are Leeds United’
Leeds United star Raphinha has, on Sunday evening, taken aim at Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul, on the back of previous comments made by the Canaries shot-stopper regarding the west Yorkshire club.
Rodrigo nets the winner
Sunday’s Premier League opener of course played out at Carrow Road a short time ago.
Two of the division’s strugglers to this point in the campaign, in the form of the aforementioned Norwich and Leeds, went head-to-head, in a crucial relegation six-pointer.
And, when all was said and done, it was the latter who came out on top, securing just a 2nd three-point haul of the season in the process.
After Raphinha’s opener was cancelled out by Andrew Omobamidele, the game’s telling moment was forthcoming just beyond the hour-mark, when a Rodrigo effort from distance somehow managed to squeeze under the body of Tim Krul and in:

And, as outlined above, in the aftermath of the Carrow Road clash, the woes of Norwich shot-stopper Krul have only continued to deepen.
This comes after one of Leeds’ goalscorers on Sunday, Raphinha, opted to take to social media, to aim a dig at the Dutchman.
Somewhat bizarrely highlighting a quote on Krul’s part from 2019, in which the Canaries’ no.1 was keen to point out that Leeds are ‘not Barcelona’, Raphinha posted a reply on his Instagram stories, explaining that:
‘No, we are not Barcelona. We are Leeds United’
