Last night, news broke that Real Madrid had made a 160 million euro bid for Paris Saint Germain talent Kylian Mbappe.
The Frenchman, who has 12 months left on his contract, has made no secret of his desire to joins Los Blancos, and Real Madrid, in turn, have made no secret of their desire to sign him.
Mbappe rose to the fore at AS Monaco, and secured a record breaking move to PSG in the summer of 2017, initially on a loan but with an obligation to make the deal permanent.

The explosive forward has since scored 133 times in 174 appearances for the Parisians, and at just 22 years old is one of their most important players along with Neymar. However, with him keen to move to pastures new, Real Madrid are set to test PSG’s resolve in the coming days.

Speaking to French outlet RMC earlier today, PSG Sporting director Leonardo revealed that Mbappe could leave if a suitable offer was made, saying that:
“We said NO to Madrid’s first offer, but if our conditions are met, we’ll see”.

And insight into what those conditions may be have been revealed by local news outlet France Bleu, As per the report,
“an offer above 200 million euros could be suitable for the Parisian club”
Such an offer would allow PSG to profit on the deal, even with the record-breaking amount that they paid Monaco for his transfer.
With only 12 months left on his current contract, however, will Mbappe be moving this week, or will he move for free next summer?
