Vannes vs PSG
PSG are set to return to action on Monday evening when they take part in the Coupe de France.
PSG are the current holders of the cup, and are by far and away the most successful side to compete for it, winning the Coupe de France on a staggering 14 occasions to date, including in six of the last seven years.
The Parisian outfit are set to face a round of 32 clash with Vannes this coming Monday, a tie they should have little issue winning, even with a depleted squad.
Lionel Messi has covid & Neymar injury update
And, unfortunately for PSG, they do indeed have something of a depleted squad
PSG confirmed on Sunday that four players have tested positive for Covid-19 and are currently isolating.
These players are Lionel Messi, Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico and Nathan Bitumazala:
The 4 positive players for Covid-19 are Leo Messi , Juan Bernat , Sergio Rico and Nathan Bitumazala. They currently respect isolation and are subject to the appropriate health protocol.
In the same update, PSG confirmed that Neymar will continue his recovery in Brazil until the 9th of January and his return to training is expected in around three weeks:
Neymar JR will continue his care in Brazil until January 9 with members of the medical and performance staff of Paris Saint-Germain. His return to training is still expected in about 3 weeks.

This means that Neymar will, of course, miss PSG’s clash with Lyon next Sunday, a tie they will no doubt be hopeful of having Messi back for.
