PlayStation 5 faceplates are coming to India and will be exclusive to Amazon India: reports

PlayStation 5 faceplates are coming to India, according to a Twitter user. Sony India has reportedly imported a small number of colored PS5 faceplates which can be used to spruce up your console in a color you like the most. Additionally, an analyst claims that these faceplates will be exclusive to Amazon. There is no information on when these faceplates will be released at this time, however, it is claimed that they may be listed on Sony Center’s ShopAtSC website and may be released alongside the upcoming PS5 restock.

Reports that Sony is importing “(VERY) small quantities of PlayStation 5 cover variants into India” have been shared by Twitter user with handle name ‘Is PS5 released in India?’. According to the tweet, the PS5 faceplates may go on sale soon, but apparently they won’t last long due to the high demand expected. It might be available alongside the next PS5 restock. Furthermore, an analyst claims that the PS5 faceplates could be priced at Rs. 3,999, which is roughly the same amount Sony charges for the covers in the US. He also claims that these faceplates will be sold exclusively on Amazon.

Sony faceplates are available in black, blue, brown, pink and purple color options.
