Paul Pogba’s eyewatering potential PSG wage revealed

Pogba’s fine opening day

Paul Pogba’s future has been questioned multiple times in recent years, with his agent saying that the Frenchman would not be signing a new contract at Old Trafford. With 12 months left on his current deal, PSG were thought to be interested in Pogba, but since signing Messi are unlikely to be able to pull it off.

However, Pogba seemed unfazed by speculation about his future on the opening day of the season, producing a brilliant performance in which he provided 4 assists in Manchester United’s 5-1 victory over Leeds United.

It was, in ninety minutes, what many Manchester United fans expected when they signed their former academy player back from Juventus in 2016. However, these performances have been few and far between. Were he able to reproduce these on a more regular basis, he may become a Manchester United hero this season.

PSG still interested in the midfielder

Meanwhile, PSG are thought to still be interested in the signing Pogba, but next season upon the expiry of his contract.

According to the Independent, the French side are willing to offer Pogba an eyewatering 600,000 euros per week, as well as a significant signing on fee, instead of having to pay a transfer fee to Manchester United.

PSG have, of course, made a habit of doing just this already this window, with Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georgino Wijnaldum and Lionel Messi on free transfers, and could well add Pogba to this list next campaign.
