Osimhen Thrilled To Receive Globe Soccer Award

Victor Osimhen has expressed his delight after receiving the Globe Soccer award for the Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year.

Osimhen was announced winner of the prestigious award last December.

The Nigeria international beat Barcelona star Gavi and Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde to the individual accolade.

The 22-year-old was recognized for his outstanding displays for his Serie A club, Napoli in 2022.

Osimhen was unable to attend the Globe Soccer Awards gala in Dubai on November 17, 2022.

Power Horse CEO, Salvatore Caizzone, Napoli’s Sporting Director Cristiano Giuintoli and Enrico Bendoni of Globe Soccer handed the award to Osimhen in Naples on Wednesday.

Osimhen has scored 10 goals in 13 league appearances for Napoli this season.
