Oppo Reno10 Pro+ schematics reveal new design

The Reno9 phones were announced in China at the end of November, and the company is already working on the next series, Reno10. Digital talkstation leakster has published schematics of a smartphone, claiming to be the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ – the most powerful of the eventual lineup.

The image, if true, reveals that the Oppo Midranger series will have a smartphone with a periscope lens, while the overall design will move away from the square island in the top left corner.

The image reveals a flat screen with a single punch hole for the selfie camera. On the back, there are three cameras on an oval island – two shooters with standard lenses and one with a periscope at the bottom, just next to the fuzzy “Powered by MariSilicon” branding.

Reno smartphones have skipped the proper telephoto lens in order to keep prices low. We could see Oppo keeping it that way if, behind the square, there’s nothing more than a simple 2 MP macro sensor – just like what Xiaomi has done with the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro.

The Reno series will launch in five to six months, which means we won’t see the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ until April. There’s enough time to know if this image is real or just a figment of the leakster’s imagination.
