Oppo Find X6 Pro may not launch outside of China unlike Xiaomi 13 Ultra

The Oppo Find X6 series, which would include the Oppo Find X6 and Oppo Find X6 Pro, is set to launch in China as new members of the company’s Find X series of smartphones. The successor to the Find X5 series is expected to release in China in the coming weeks. Also expected to launch soon is the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, a highly anticipated smartphone from a competitor. Although the latter is very likely to see a global release, the next Oppo Find handset may not launch outside of China, according to a tipster

Ice Universe Reliable Tipster (@UniverseIce) tweeted recently that the next Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone will be launched worldwide, but the Oppo Find X6 Pro which is not yet released will not be available for sale outside of China, where it is expected to be launched more later this month.

A recent report suggested the display specs of the Find X6 Pro, which is said to have a 6.8-inch E6 AMOLED display with 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color support. It’s also claimed that Oppo’s new internal display technology will deliver 8x more display brightness – and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits.

The base model of the Oppo Find X6 series will be available in three different colors – Feiquan Green, Starry Sky Black and Snow Mountain Gold, the report added. Meanwhile, the Pro model will likely come in a Desert Silver Moon leather finish variant and Feiquan Green and Cloud Ink Black color options.

Meanwhile, the base Oppo Find X6 variant is said to have a glass back and a thickness of 8.96mm, with a weight of 207 grams, while the Oppo Find X6 Pro in Desert Silver Moon will be 9. 6 mm and will weigh 216 grams. Other color variants of the Pro model are said to be 9.18mm thick and weigh 218 grams.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone, the successor to the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, is also expected to be launched soon by rival brand Oppo, with Lecia-branded cameras.
