Oppo Find N2 Flip receives new features for its cover screen

Oppo is now rolling out a new feature update to its Find N2 Flip foldable smartphone. In a press release, the company outlines its four-year commitment to upgrades to its foldable clamshell handset.

The update concerns the exterior display of the device. It now supports an exclusive Spotify widget as well as a text-to-speech feature to select messaging apps. The widget on the cover screen was co-developed with Spotify and lets you control your music without opening the phone as well as add the current song to your library. The album art is also in place so you can see what’s playing at a glance.

Text-to-speech feature is supported by WhatsApp, Messenger, Messages by Google, Telegram and LINE. This is very useful if you cannot respond immediately by typing so that the system does it for you directly from the external screen.

The update is now being distributed to Oppo Find N2 Flip owners, but it may take a day or two to arrive, so please be patient.
