Oppo A1x announced with Dimensity 700 and 5,000 mAh battery

Oppo introduced its latest budget offering in China with the Oppo A1x – a rebranded version of the Oppo A58x that launched in December. The only differences between the two phones are color options and pricing.

A1x brings a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The rear houses a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s a 5MP camera housed in the teardrop notch on the front.

The phone features MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset coupled with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage with support for microSD expansion. The 5000mAh battery supports 10W charging. The software side is covered by Color OS 12.1 based on Android 12.

Oppo A1x

Oppo A1x is available in two colors – black and blue. The 6/128GB is priced at CNY1,399 ($204) while the 8/128GB version will cost CNY1,599 ($233). The phone is already available over-the-counter in China on Oppo’s official online store.
