OnePlus Buds Ace will have ANC, 36 hours of battery life, will be unveiled on February 7

On February 7, OnePlus will unveil new products on two fronts. Globally, it will launch the OnePlus 11, 11R, its first ever tablet and more. In China, it will introduce the OnePlus Ace 2 (considered identical to the 11R) and the OnePlus Buds Ace. The company has already confirmed some details for the two new devices planned for China.
The Buds Ace will benefit from a total autonomy of 36 hours (buds + case). That’s 6 more than the Nord Buds, which have a similar design. Additionally, the Ace Buds will have much improved fast charging – a 5 minute quick charge will be enough for 10 hours of playtime (compared to 10 minutes for 5 hours on the Nord Buds).
Another advantage over the old buds is that these will have active noise cancellation (ANC) thanks to a “dual-core noise reduction chip”. On top of that, the new OnePlus Buds Ace will feature a dynamic bass system called BassWave.

These headphones are recommended by the Peacekeeper Elite League in part because of their Bluetooth 5.3 support, which can reduce latency to 47ms.
As for the OnePlus Ace 2, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and official renders show that its design will be very similar to that of the OnePlus 11. Note that the global event on February 7 will mark the global launch of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 (which are already available in China), it’s unclear how long it will take for the Buds Ace (possibly under a different name) to go global as well.
