OnePlus 11 breaks pre-sale records in China, OnePlus 11 Pro will not exist

The OnePlus 11 went official for the Chinese market less than 24 hours ago, ahead of its global introduction next month. And it looks like it’s already been an incredible success, more in fact than any previous OnePlus device before it.
According to OnePlus China President Li Jie, the OnePlus 11 broke pre-sale records for the brand after just two hours. The first real sale will be on January 9th, and at this rate we suspect it will be a resounding success – expect many units to be purchased within minutes and a “sold out” notice to be posted shortly. time after, as is usual in the Chinese market.
Interestingly, responding to a user on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, Li practically said that there will be no OnePlus 11 Pro as the OnePlus 11 is meant to replace the Pro model from previous years. Of course, things can always get lost in translation, especially the translation of the automated machine variety, so take that with a bit of salt.
We wouldn’t be totally surprised to see a OnePlus 11 Pro on the line one day, but we wouldn’t bet on it either as things stand, with the company itself claiming that no such device is available. ‘is to come.
It’s also probably too early to start speculating on the possible OnePlus 11T which will likely arrive in the second half of the year, so for now we feel like we’re meant to enjoy the OnePlus 11. Speaking of which , we can’t wait to get our hands on it once it makes its international debut on February 7.
