His full names are Chief Olusegun Matthew Aremu Obasanjo. Born in Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria on December 5, 1937, Obasanjo was once a former military head of state in Nigeria and Second democratically elected president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This makes him longest serving president in Nigeria.He is often called “OBJ” or “Baba” by many. He is a politician and one of the most popular politicians in Africa.
He hails from the Yoruba tribe and has been married four times. Among his wives, he identified more with Mrs Stella Obasanjo (late). He served two term in office (8 years) under the PDP. Many, say his rule as president was one that ushered in corruption in Nigeria, but with no proof to back that claim.
