“Ole was right” Manchester United fans slam outcast after Young Boys showing
Manchester United struggle to draw
Taking one point from a possible six against Swiss side Young Boys is nothing to feel proud about, but it ultimately didn’t matter, as the Red Devils knew that they had topped their group heading into this tie.
As such, it was a chance for squad rotation, with Ralf Rangnick making 11 changes to his starting lineup and handing three players their debut’s off the bench.

The Red Devils actually took the lead through Mason Greenwood, but were pegged back before half time, and poor finishing from both sides in the second half ensured that despite the dominance of Young Boys, both sides walked away from the affair with a point from an altogether mediocre 90 minutes.
Fans slam outcast en-masse
Amid the mediocrity, there was one man in particular that Manchester United fans were quick to throw under the bus. Donny Van De Beek.
The Dutchman not starting became a key tenet of Solskjaer’s regime, and it was expected that a new manager could see him play more often. Judging by tonight’s showing, however, the United faithful are beginning to understand why he wasn’t playing much before.
No wonder van de beek doesn’t get in the team, not a massive loss if he leaves in January

Donny Van De Beek pivotal role🙄… and you hear people blaming Ole for not playing Donny

I honestly don’t think van de beek is better than anyone in the starting 11

Lingard and van de beek worst players on pitch

Van de Beek and Matic have been very poor tonight.

Ole got one thing right. Donny Van De Beek isn’t up to it. #MUFC

Van de beek is actually not that good what does everyone see in him

Maybe Ole was right. Maybe Van de Beek is truly a very good bench material.
