The deal is thought to have set the Italian side back 40 million euros, and they have accepted a buy-back clause that would allow Chelsea to purchase Tammy Abraham for 80 million euros from the summer of 2023.
Tammy Abraham has today completed a permanent move to AS Roma.
Everyone at Chelsea Football Club thanks @tammyabraham for his contribution at Stamford Bridge and wishes him the very best for the future. 💙

Abraham started well in Chelsea blue under Frank Lampard but was frozen out when Thomas Tuchel joined the club, failing to start a single Premier League game under the German. He ends this chapter of his Chelsea career having netted 30 times in 82 games for the west London side.
Shirt number revealed
Meanwhile, Abraham has had his shirt number at his new club confirmed, and, as per the announcement video, it appears that the 23-year-old will don the number 9 shirt as he did at Chelsea.
The shirt has been left vacant since Edin Dzeko left the club to join Serie A rivals Inter Milan on a free transfer last week, having previously had the number for his five years in the Italian capital.

The move, in turn, could allow Romelu Lukaku to take up the number 9 shirt at Chelsea, although for now this is not confirmed.
Will Tammy be a hit in Italy?
