Liverpool have officially agreed their first signing of the 2022 January transfer window.
The Reds confirmed the announcement in a statement on Sunday afternoon, but did not specify the length of contract Diaz was signed to:
“The 25-year-old has signed a long-term contract with the Reds after passing a medical and finalising personal terms,” Liverpool wrote.
“Diaz will arrive on Merseyside once he has completed international duty with Colombia, who face Argentina in a World Cup qualifier in Cordoba on Tuesday evening.”
