The Premier League clash set to take place between Burnley and Tottenham at Turf Moor on Sunday has been called off.
Burnley vs Tottenham
Tottenham were expected to be back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs were facing a trip to Burnley at 2 pm UK time as they looked to bounce back from their rather embarrassing 2-1 defeat at the hands of Slovenian outfit Mura.
Tottenham have had a pretty underwhelming start to life under Antonio Conte. They secured a Europa Conference League win over Vitesse and scrapped a 2-1 win against a poor Leeds side this past weekend.
However, they also failed to register a single shot on target vs Everton and, obviously, lost to Mura.
Burnley, though, should have proven to be a fairly easy test for the Lilywhites.
The Clarets have won just one league game all season and have shipped 20 goals in 12 outings – seemingly making them a great opponent for Spurs to bounce back against.

Tottenham’s meeting with Burnley called off
However, Spurs will now not get the chance to do so as the game has officially been called off.
The reason for this, as per Tottenham’s official Twitter account, is due to weather conditions:
