Nuno Espirito Santo provides Harry Kane update ahead of Tottenham’s meeting with Wolves
Wolves vs Tottenham
Tottenham are back in Premier League action on Sunday afternoon.
Nuno Espirito Santo is set to return to former club Wolves for the first time since he departed the Midlands-based outfit earlier this year.
Spurs will head into the game having had a very mixed week to date. A strong squad would score a huge 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Premier League last Sunday.
However, a weak Tottenham would then lose 1-0 to Portuguese minnows, Ferreira in a Europa Conference League qualifier on Thursday evening.
Nuno on Harry Kane
Following said loss, Nuno spoke to the press late on Thursday evening.
During his press conference, the Portuguese would be asked for an update on Harry Kane.
The forward missed the win over Man City and the Europa Conference tie on Thursday, both for ‘fitness reasons’.
So, will Kane be available to face Wolves having had over a week to build his fitness?
When asked for an update on Harry Kane’s situation on Thursday evening, Nuno gave little away as to the striker’s potential involvement at the weekend, stating:
“He trained today. He trained with the group of players that stayed in England. He trained well and he is going to train tomorrow and when we return he will join all the players and work as the group and Harry in it.”
Here’s every word Nuno Espirito Santo just said about how to improve Bryan Gil, the Harry Kane latest, Cristian Romero’s performance and how quickly he will adapt, Dane Scarlett’s tough night, the Spurs team he put out and plenty more. https://t.co/R8FvDDG29v
