nubia Red Magic 8 Pro undergoes a durability test

nubia’s Red Magic 8 Pro is the brand’s latest gaming phone and the first device to suffer a JerryRigAll durability test in 2023. As usual, the test kicks off with a screen scratch test that shows Gorilla Glass 5 protected screen scratches at a level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale.

The metal blade of the host confirms that the phone frame and the power button are made of aluminum. Capacitive shoulder triggers remain functional even after a close encounter with the blade. The back and the three camera lenses are all protected by glass. Finally, we see that the bend test manages to separate the back glass but the phone remains in one piece and does not break.
