Ntsiki Mazwai slams South Africans for engaging in foreign affairs
Ntsiki Mazwai is not happy with the fact South Africans are lending their voices to the ongoing election in US.
She however, slammed Africans for engaging themselves in foreign affairs when other countries show less concerning about Africa.
She accused those who are following the US polls as trying to look intelligent and being “clever blacks”.
Ntsiki made this known on her Twitter as she said:
“Clinton, Obama, Trump never made a difference in my life… So I will rather watch deputy Americans involved in this election topic. Because I know Americans don’t even know EFF, so why would I bother with their politics? To sound like a clever black??”

Khausincede sister, enlighten us, how does American elections affect me? I mean our local elections do not benefit me in any way, except that, i see families of politicians moving from rural areas to towns and am still staying in the township hustling for myself?

Sometimes it’s not the matter of not focusing on home matters wena Ntsiki yabo , it’s because of broadening your mental understanding and interacting as a person . pic.twitter.com/8r8qS9F2XQ

Simple example to why it’s important: it’s like worrying about the price of petrol but you don’t have a car, it affects you in ways you can’t see but you definitely feel.

We get involved not to sound clever but to stay updated with current affairs, and as africans, American politics does actually affect us, infect it affects the whole world. It’s a super power country, in the wrong hands, it could start a world war. Plus, its currency lands in SA
