Nokia C99 specs and prices online, expected to debut in Q3 2023

The Nokia C99 is rumored to be in the works, according to details leaked online. The company is reportedly working on a flagship smartphone dubbed Nokia “Magic Box,” which could sport a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display and use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Qualcomm’s latest high-end SoC. This smartphone also comes with a 144-megapixel triple camera setup and 180W fast charging support. However, the company has yet to announce plans to launch such a handset.

According details Shared by Twitter user Chandragupta Saurabh (@ParasmeSaurabh), the Finnish smartphone maker may launch Nokia C99 in India in Q3 2023 priced around Rs. 45,000.

However, keeping the leaked specifications in mind, it seems highly unlikely that the alleged handset will be sold at such a low price. This smartphone is likely to compete with flagship smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S23 series and Xiaomi 13 Pro in India.

The yet to be announced Nokia C99 could be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM, according to details shared by the user. The handset can sport a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7 protection.

For optics, the alleged Nokia C99 could feature a Zeiss-optimized triple rear camera setup comprising a 144-megapixel main camera, a 64-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera.

This rumored handset could also come with support for 180W fast charging, according to details shared by the Twitter user. However, as mentioned earlier, there is currently no word from Nokia on plans to launch a new C-series smartphone with flagship specs in India or global markets, so it is advisable to take these claims – especially the supposed price – with a pinch of salt.
