Nokia C22 and C32 announced with three-day battery life

Nokia today added two new phones to its affordable C-series – the Nokia C32 and the Nokia C22.

The Nokia C32 is the first C-series phone to pack a 50MP camera, and it’s also built to a high standard for the class with glass front and back. The C32 and C22 are IP52 rated for protection against dust and splashing water.

On the front, the Nokia C32 and C22 have a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with slightly curved 2.5D glass. Another common trait is the 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging and the claim of up to three days of battery life. Nokia says battery life is helped by AI-powered battery saving management.

The Nokia C32 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 50MP main camera with night mode, portrait mode and auto HDR, and a dedicated 2MP macro. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter which supports face unlock even with a mask on.

The Nokia C32 is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A SoC with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The latter can be expanded via microSD cards.

The Nokia C32 runs Android 13 and Nokia has promised two years of quarterly security updates.

The Nokia C32 is on sale starting today in Charcoal, Autumn Green and Beach Pink. Pricing starts from €129.

Let’s move on to the Nokia C22. It downgrades the plastic back panel and there’s an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The rear has a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro sensor, while the front shares the same 8MP selfie stick that can unlock face even with a mask on.

The Nokia C22 comes with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. You can move it via the microSD slot.
