Nokia C02 silently debuts Android 12 (Go edition) and entry-level specs

Ahead of MWC Barcelona, HMD announced a new entry-level device dubbed Nokia C02. The phone has a modest spec sheet and some nice features like a removable battery, an IP52 rating, and a headphone jack.
The Nokia C02 features a 5.45-inch LCD screen with FWVGA+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. There is a 2 MP front camera and a single 5 MP rear shooter on the back which sits above the LED flash. The phone features a polycarbonate frame and back with a nano-texture that peels away to reveal the replaceable 3000mAh battery along with dual SIM slots and microSD card slot. The C02 charges via the dated microUSB connector at speeds up to 5W.
The chipset department is handled by an unnamed quad-core SoC with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz. It’s joined by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The software side is covered by Android 12 (Go edition) and you get two years of security updates.
