Noa Lang’s stance on Arsenal transfer interest revealed
Noa Lang’s stance on Arsenal’s transfer interest has been revealed, according to reports stemming from the Netherlands.
Who is Noa Lang?
After enjoying a loan spell with the club during 2020/21, Noa Lang would sign for Belgian outfit Club Brugge permanently in July of 2021.
Brugge signed Lang from Dutch powerhouse Ajax, with whom he had spent many of his younger years, for a fee reported to be around £5.4m.
Despite having been on Ajax’s books for some time, the 22-year-old would only feature 14 times for the club’s senior side, scoring four and assisting one.
With Brugge, however, Lang has become a key figure already. During his 2020/21 loan spell, the winger scored 17 goals and provided 11 assists in 38 outings across all competitions, including one goal and one assist in the Champions League.
And now, as a permanent member of the Belgian giants’ squad, the Dutchman has, so far, netted three and assisted four in eight league outings this term.
Lang is a left-winger by trade. However, he is very versatile and can also operate both on the right and as a centre-forward.
Arsenal linked with Noa Lang
Lang’s name has already made its way into the news of late, with a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes earlier this month crediting all of Arsenal, Leicester and AC Milan with an interest in the 22-year-old.
This would be followed by a report from Football Insider that claimed Leeds had set their sights on Lang.
Lang’s stance on Arsenal transfer interest
Now, as mentioned above, it appears that Noa Lang’s stance on the transfer interest of Arsenal has been revealed.
According to, football.london, citing Voetbal24, Lang is pleased with the reported interest in his services from Arsenal, adding that the Gunners are reportedly keen on signing the Club Brugge forward, with the feeling seemingly mutual.
