Noa Lang showing up the greats on the European stage
Belgium continues to be a hot spot proving ground for young talent on the continent in recent years as Club Brugge KV’s Dutch U21 international winger Noa Lang is the latest starlet to draw attention from bigger clubs in Europe.
The 22-year-old has started the 2021-22 Jupiler Pro League campaign like a house on fire thus far, registering 3-goals and adding 4-assists in nine appearances thus far while helping Blauw-Zwart to the top of the table, one point ahead of KAS Eupen, KRC Genk, and Royal Antwerp who are all one point behind.
But the most impressive aspect of the Dutch starlet’s season thus far was his performance in the Champions League in Brugge’s match day one 1-1 draw at home against Paris Saint-Germain.
In combination with another youngster in 20-year-old Belgian international attacking midfielder Charles De Ketelaere, Lang headlined an impressive Brugge performance.

The young duo boasted more shot creating chances, and an equal amount of both chances created & successful take-ons as PSG’s combined attacking trio of Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, and Lionel Messi.
Arsenal and Leeds lead Premier League interest
Noa Lang was already on the radar screens of Leeds United during the summer transfer window before when the Elland Road outfit were rumored to have agreed terms with the Dutch starlet on a move to the club.
But now Arsenal have seemingly taken the lead regarding their interest in the player, and according to Dutch outlet Voetbal24, the player and his camp are equally intrigued by the interest.
Any purchase considered by the Gunners for Lang would not come on the cheap, however, with the club hoping to receive somewhere in the region of €30million for the Dutchman.
