Nightography Delivers ‘Epic Nighttime Photos’ Say Samsung Researchers – Samsung Global Newsroom

Over the past decade, smartphone photography has advanced dramatically thanks to innovations in camera hardware, computer imaging, and artificial intelligence. However, capturing low-light photos has always remained a challenge. — that is, until Samsung Electronics launched its revolutionary Nightography feature. First introduced in the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy users can now enjoy even more vivid and highly optimized photos even in the dark with improved Nightogaphy for the Galaxy S23 series.

Helping users say goodnight to washed out and blurry nighttime images was a group effort led by Samsung experts. To learn more about this breakthrough camera feature for the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung Newsroom spoke to the experts at Samsung Research.¹ global R&D centers, which collaborated on the technology.
