Nigerian Drug Dealer And Female Accomplice Arrested With Drugs Worth N113 million In South Africa
Collins Emeka Akona, a 50-year-old Nigerian drug lord has reportedly been arrested alongside his female South African accomplice for the possession of heroin and Crystal meth drugs worth R4.2 million.

According to reports, Collins and Mahlatse Maseko were arrested at Thornhill Estate in Polokwane for having drugs worth R4.2 million equivalent to N113 million. The two were arrested by members of the Provincial Organized Crime Unit and the Provincial Detectives.
Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, the Limpopo Police spokesperson confirmed the news by saying that the authorities are still on the hunt for more drug lords who are destroying the youth in the country with narcotic drugs.
He also revealed that police are still pursuing Maseko’s boyfriend who fled the crimescene after they were busted in a room full of drugs, abandoning his girlfriend.
Also, Vincent Kunutu, who happens to be the chairperson of Seshego Community Against Crime and Gansterism, also stated that drugs like heroin and crystal meth are mostly used by the youth in the community.
He also said that the arrest of these two will deter other drug dealers in the community from distributing drugs to the youth,leading to the destruction of the educational system the area.
However, Collins and Maseko appeared before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on 6th March and their case has been adjourned to March 10th for formal bail application.
