Nigeria star gives AFCON injury update ahead of tournament start
Arsenal tracking Victor Osimhen
Napoli’s Victor Osimhen had an electric start to Napoli’s Serie A campaign, providing 7 goals in 11 games (5 goals and 2 assists), as well as four goals in three Europa League ties.
However, a facial injury has seen him miss out of games since mid-November, having to be substituted during their 3-2 defeat to Inter Milan. He has been unable to feature for the Italian side in the subsequent five games.
The injury has also seen rumours about his future die down, as Arsenal had previously been thought to be tracking the striker, but no new news has been forthcoming since.
However, he could be back in action very soon.
Osimhen provides positive injury update
Now, Osimhen has taken to Twitter in order to provide an update for the Super Eagles, and it good news for Nigerians.
The Napoli man revealed that he would be fit and ready to play in the tournament, that will also see teammates Kalidou Koulibaly and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa take part.

Having represented the Super Eagles in all of their World Cup qualifiers, scoring six goals in the process, it is seemingly impossible that he will be left out. The question is, how far can he take his side?
