Zimbabwe government on Wednesday has announced that 61-year-old foreign minister and former army general, Sibusiso Moyo has died from COVID-19.

In a statement released on Wednesday by Mnangagwa’s spokesman, George Charamba, the minister “succumbed to COVID-19 at a local hospital”.

Moyo, who suffered from a kidney condition, reportedly died in a medical facility in the capital Harare, days after testing positive for the virus.
