Yanga Chief’s ‘Utatakho’ hits 1million views on YouTube
Yanga Chief has hit another milestone as his single is ‘Utatakho’ remix which he featured Boity, Dee Koala, Riky Rick has finally reached 1million views on YouTube.
The song which was premiered on Dec 19, 2019 has joined the Million club.
Recall, it was announced that his single, ‘Utatakho’ has been certified gold.
Yanga has been all over the moon since the announcement and hearing this now, it is double celebration for him.
The single has won the rapper the title of Song Of The Year at the SA Hip Hop Awards 2019, after that he released a remix which was featured on yet another award winning album Becoming A Popstar.
Yanga stated that at the time he made the song, he does not have a father neither is he a father.
He said: “I made a song called Tatakho, I don’t have a father. I am not a father. At the time when I made it I had no experience. The role and importance of fatherhood like I also have the same problems. I have a brother who is a year older than me,I remember when I was a kid I wanted to learn how to drive but my brother did. I was in the backseat while they were teaching him.”
He concluded: “And that’s how the rest of my life was with my dad when he was around”
