UIF commissioner put on precautionary suspension

Teboho Maruping, Commissioner for Unemployment Insurance Fund has been put in precautionary suspension.

This is after Kimi Makwetu, Auditor-General, made an investigation into UIF-COVID-19 TERS.

However, more details will be provided by Thulas Nxesi, Minister of Employment and Labour.

On Wednesday afternoon, at a media briefing, the further details will reveal the findings gotten from the Auditor-General in connection to the Relief Fund Audit.

BREAKING:
ENCA has confirmed that UIF Commissioner Teboho Maruping has been placed on precautionary suspension. This comes after an investigation into TERS by the Auditor-General.
